Miracles happen when we allow God to do His great work; that's the tack that Logan's mom, Sherry, took when her dear-hearted 4-year old son was diagnosed with an AT/RT brain tumor in August of 2010. From expressions of hope and faith to pained pleas to God above, follow along as she shares her heart, waddles through her 4th pregnancy and the subsequent birth of baby Brady on 12/14/10, prays for her son's recovery and works to amass the biggest team of prayer warriors ever.
About Us
Our family of 6 (dad Adam, mom Sherry, big sister Abby and little brothers Isaac and Brady -- who was born on December 14, 2010) joined the ranks of pediatric cancer fighters when our 4-year old son Logan was diagnosed with a dangerous and highly malignant form of brain cancer in mid-August 2010. Logan's cancer journey began abruptly on Sunday, August 15, when his right eye suddenly turned inward during dinner. Twenty-four hours later, we were checking into Children's Hospital Oakland and finding out that life sometimes takes you places you'd never, ever imagine yourself going.

Change of Plans, 9/2/10
After a quick MRI a little while ago, it looks like the Neuro might want to put in a shunt - still waiting to see him but it sounds like there's too much excess fluid. Assuming this means treatment will be put off for at least a number of days. Awesome. Fantastic. Let's delay treatment for a fast growing, highly cancerous tumor. So far I've avoided cursing, but when the fuck are we going to get GOOD news? Why do I bother even TRYING to feel hopeful? This feels like hell. Darn you, God. You suck.
